Train Weekend at Largo Central Park
August 2nd and 3rd from 10am-4pm–Largo Central Park, 101 Central Park Drive
Ride the miniature trains! There is no charge for this family-fun activity, but donations are expected. 

Your contributions keep the trains running. Bring a picnic to snack from, a kite to run with, a ball to

kick around, or simply lie around on the grass and watch the clouds roll across the sky.  Leashed pets

are welcome, as are your rambunctious kids. Music serenades you from speakers perched up high,

but feel free to bring your own tunes as well. Whatever you do, don't let another month pass you

LIFEGUARD GAMES 

Join the fun as teams of lifeguards from your local area pools compete for prizes and bragging rights in the 1st Annual Lifeguard Games. Organized by the Pinellas Aquatics Council, the August 2 competition will be held at Southwest Pool in Largo from 8 AM to 12 PM. The event is sponsored by the Southeastern Group. Teams from all over Pinellas County and beyond will be competing in events designed to test their recue skills and speed in reacting to emergencies.
